Abstract

Mid-infrared Quantum cascade lasers (QCLs) opens the way for many applications thanks to “fingerprint region of molecules”. In recent years, the emergence of external cavity broadband wavelength-swept QCLs have been providing new benefits not found in FTIR such as compactness and faster wavelength scanning due to MOEMS technology.
