Abstract

This paper considers a problem of synchronization for an array of discrete-time delayed neural networks with coupling failure. It is assumed that if coupling failure happens, then the array model is composed of identical delayed neural networks with coupling-free. By constructing a piecewise Lyapunov functional and utilizing an average dwell time method, delay-dependent sufficient conditions are established to guarantee global exponential synchronization.
