Abstract
This paper deals with the problem of efficient distribution of communications and streaming services in large National telepresence infrastructure (NTI) via Slovak Academic Network (SANET). Performance of such large heterogenous telepresence infrastructure can be limited not only by hardware resources utilization or network bandwidth but also with software cloud licensing limitations. After problem analysis we designed and implemented new NTI service booking system with ability to prevent high NTI resources usage. Research results are in form of integration of mechanisms of identification of critical nodes in specific booking time and mechanisms for proper technology resources balancing and effective license capacity distribution based on each service request. Proposed solution has been experimentally implemented in productive environment of NTI portal and it is currently used by research community resulting hundreds of conferences and live streams.
