Abstract

We address cognitive models and prototype theory in context of foreign language learning and examine some ideas that seem to favour Computer-assisted language learning tools (CALL tools) evolution alongside we present a software prototype of a learning environment where prosody and intonation are primary learning goals. Project methodology uses phrasal intonation contour as an item at basic level of categorization.
