Abstract
Assuming a quasi-TEM mode of wave propagation and using Conformal Mapping Technique, simple, closed-form and accurate expressions have been arrived at for the Offset - Parallel Strip Transmission Line (abbrv. Offset-PSTL) in free space. A model has been proposed for evaluating the effective dielectric constant of the Offset-PSTL photo-etched on the dielectric sheet.
