Abstract

Physical property data such as hardness has been used in the manufacture of materials for many years. This information has become increasingly valuable because of the emphasis for continuous improvement in optical quality and its corresponding cost and more recently the emergence of CAD/CAM optics manufacturing technology such as Opticam.
