Abstract

The authors describe a programming paradigm they call attribute-grammar-based programming, its realization language AG, and the programming environment for AG, called SAGE (Support for AG Environment). AG is designed so that it can be used as a general-purpose programming language, as well as for the kernel language of various software production systems based on attribute grammars.
