Abstract

Smart Mirror is a mirror made using Raspberry Pi 4. It aims to provide several functionalities like displaying weather, time, daily news as well as several different utilities which helps the user to interact with the mirror. The project earmarks to design a futuristic version of a mirror by using the fundamentals of object detection. In this paper we have performed enhancing the utility of a smart mirror by providing it security through the Raspbian camera by using the fundamentals of object detection through the OpenCV module and YOLO.
