Production Function of the Energy Sector of the Republic of Moldova

Abstract

Based on statistical data for the period 1995–20016 on the energy sector of the Republic of Moldova, an attempt was made to construct the Cobb-Douglas production function as the dependence of the industry’s output on investment and labor. An indirect estimate of the value of the fixed assets of the energy sector at the beginning of1995 was also made.
