Abstract

With help of Image processing foundation, Optical Character Recognition can be handled to distinguish the content in a picture. This would be useful for visually impaired individuals by giving a sound indication to them. This work will be accomplished by utilizing Intel Edison and the application in the framework is composed in python with libraries of OpenCV.
