The Major raw material for the textile industries is cotton. Many tedious processes are encountered to evolve cotton in its purest form to benefit textile industry. Even though there is a huge evolution in automation in many industries till today the cotton is fed manually to the delinter machines. One major challenge is to feed cotton to the delinter machines and also it is difficult to check the cotton on the delinter machines. Running idle delinter machines increases power consumption and reduces production effectiveness. As a result, the proposed solution calls for using a vacuum pump to transfer cotton from the storage into a container. The cotton is then fed to the delinter machines through a roller setup for steady flow in accordance with the level of cotton present in the machines, which is monitored by an ultrasonic level sensor and LCD Display.
