Abstract

An angle-insensitive programmable amplitude-phase-joint coding (PAPJC) metasurface is proposed in this paper. The metasurface can adjust the amplitude and phase of reflected electromagnetic (EM) waves independently of the intricately optimized meta-atom at a wide oblique incidence angle. The proposed PAPJC metasurface, which can be used for RCS reduction, performs well under real-time independent controls of energy regulation and beam shaping, according to the results of numerical simulation.
