As the core component of the electron gun, the anode frame component was the most difficult to manufacture, which include two electrical boundary parts, the first anode and the second anode. Firstly, we separated the electrical boundary parts with the auxiliary fixing parts, and the auxiliary fixing parts were separately sealed as the frame structure. Secondly, the two anode parts are fixed on the mold, and then connected by pulsed laser welding with less welding deformation. Finally, the frame component meeting the design requirements was manufactured. Abstract
In this paper, a typical Space traveling wave tube (TWT) electron gun frame structure was optimized, and some special sealing and laser beam welding (LBW) dies was developed.
