Abstract

Transportation problem (TP) is used to solve real-life problems as agriculture, management and engineering science etc. But in real-life transportation problems, the cost depends on uncontrollable factors like fuel price, weather conditions and consumers behaviour etc. To deal with this type of imprecision, fuzzy numbers and their extension have been introduced by the authors.
