In this paper are presented certain experimental determinations made with high performance equipments that belong to the electromagnetic compatibility laboratory within ICMET-Craiova, on certain materials used in constructions (DEBOND, Polycarbonate, Fireproof polypropylene and gypsum board). Abstract

Once with the development of production, distribution and use of electricity, the first aspects regarding the effects of electromagnetic radiation over the human health have emerged. The fast development of electronic equipments (laptops, monitors, televisions, mobile telephony, wireless data transmission equipment, radar antennas, etc.) during the last decades has led to new interdisciplinary studies and researched regarding the short, medium and long term effects of electromagnetic radiation over the human health.
