Community Outreach

Abstract

Friends of French & Italian Studies Our faculty work closely with the consulates for France and Italy and are actively involved in local organizations such as the FrenchAmerican Chamber of Commerce, the Alliance Française, the Seattle-Nantes Sister City Association, and the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF). In addition, many of our graduate students and faculty volunteer for University Beyond Bars. The student Italian Club has begun of tradition of making a home cooked Italian meal for the families staying in the Ronald McDonald House of Seattle.
