Experiments results clearly indicate that the multicast gateway can increase packet transport speed and decrease computation of network bandwidth as well as the load on hosts with no interest in the application. Abstract

To improve the reliability of traditional supervision system for intelligent equipments, a supervision system based on redundant work stations is proposed and then the gateway applied in this system is designed.
