Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, observasi dokumentasi.Hasil perhitungan menggunakan Cronbach Alpha yaitu 0,903 . test dilaksanakan. paired sampel t test menunjukkan nilai sig.(2-tailed) 0,05 yang menunjukkan 0,000 0,000 Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the Role Playing technique Group Guidance service on increasing self-control of students who are low in class X Hospitality in the Covid-19 pandemic era at SMK Negeri 4 Surakarta. This study uses an experimental quantitative method with a one group pre-test post-test research design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, the research sample was 10 students of class X Hospitality 1. The data collection method used questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. The validity of the instrument using the product moment formula, reliability using the Cronbach Alpha formula, and data analysis using the t test. This is evidenced by the results of the paired sample t test that has been carried out. The results of the paired sample t test show that the value of tcount > ttable is 5.616 where 5.616 > 1.833. In addition, the value of sig.(2-tailed) < 0.05 which indicates the number 0.000 where 0.000 < 0.05. The value of the difference between the pre-test and post-test can be seen from the results of the mean paired sample t test which shows the number 12.8.
