Economic security of the country. Analysis of approaches to definition in scientific and educational literature 2020-2021

Abstract

The problems of Russia's economic security have become more acute in the context of global challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic and increased sanctions pressure. The need to create an actual concep-tual and categorical platform of economic security of Russia at the federal and regional level is due to these challenges. By the method of systematic selection of publications, scientific and educational materials on economic security that were published in 2020-2021 were analyzed, they were classified on the basis of which approach to economic security is applied - narrow or broad. The author considered to what extent the interpretation of this term used by different authors correlates with the Strategy of economic security of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030. Conclusions were made on the acceptability and applicability of these or those approaches to the definition and recommendations were made to improve the terminolog-ical foundation under consideration.
