Abstract
The problem considered in the work is related to ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of track circuits and automatic locomotive signaling with nearby traction network in the areas of their approaching and parallel arrangement. A simplified model of the distribution of interference induced in rails by a nearby traction network was developed and investigated. To overcome the difficulties of modeling, associated with the longitudinal inhomogeneity of the traction network, it is proposed to carry out the simulation in two stages. At the first stage, the currents in all conductors of traction network are determined without taking into account the equipment of track circuits connected to the rails. And at the second stage, the interference induced in the rails of the track with direct current traction is specified, taking into account the actual design of the tracks and the equipment connected to the rails in the areas of interest. The method for monitoring electromagnetic interference in rails, based on the use of the Pearson correlation coefficient of input and output currents of track circuits, is considered, which allows to timely detect interference that can lead to failures in the operation of track circuits and automatic locomotive signaling. Results of the calculations by the proposed model agree satisfactorily with the measurement results.
