Abstract
A thin plane rigidly supported inclusion is in a uniform background (in two-dimensional Euclidean space) and subjected to an incident plane harmonic wave. The related mixed boundary-value problem is formulated as a matrix Wiener-Hopf equation which is solved through the Khrapkov method.
