The pour point depressant is formulated with a certain amount of enhancer to improve its efficiency. The synthesis conditions have optimized. For one block in northeast China, the pour point of the crude was significantly reduced at the dosing rate of 1800 ppm. Abstract
In this paper, maleic anhydride, EVA, and tetradecyl primary amine were used as raw materials to synthesize an amidated maleic anhydride-EVA copolymer as pour point depressant.
