Unlike conventional drive system, torque as well as the power and speed can be directly Supplied to the wheel using a hub motor. This arrangement eliminates the gear and need for mechanical differentials. Outer -rotor type multi polar switched reluctance hub motor suited for many emerging Application for electric drive system.
