Abstract

This paper proposes the control and energy management of a PV-Diesel-ESS micro-grid in islanded mode, where a two-level hierarchical control technique is adopted, the lower-level control to optimize/control the power from of the microgrid’s components, then comes the higher-level control to supervise the power flow and ensure its balance on the whole system while promoting self-consumption under a lowcost system.
