Abstract

A partially molten buchite xenolith containing quartz, glass, mullite/sillimanite, corundum, Al-rich orthopyroxene, spinel, Mg-Al-bearing Fe-Ti oxides, ilmenite and rutile was found in the basaltic tuff of Szigliget (Balaton Highlands, Hungary).
