Investment Decision Analysis of PPP Project of Hangzhou-Taizhou High-Speed Railway in China

Abstract

With the rapid development of global economy, more and more countries in the world attach importance to railway construction. In recent years, China has further deepened the reform of investment and financing system, and encouraging and guiding private capital to invest in railways is one of its important contents. In this situation, it has become a development trend to implement railway construction in PPP mode. In addition, investment decision-making methods have always been concerned by investors, and the choice of appropriate investment decision-making methods is beneficial for investors to make correct investment decisions, enhance the possibility of profit and reduce investment risks. Therefore, taking the PPP project of Hangzhou-Taizhou High-speed Railway in China as an example, this paper analyzes with the appropriate investment decision analysis method, demonstrates the limitations of each financial index with data, and finally draws a conclusion. From the theoretical point of view, for large investment projects, we should clearly grasp the investment decision analysis method, comprehensive multiple indicators collaborative analysis, to make objective evaluation; From the practical point of view, the research of this project can provide beneficial help for investment decision makers, and is also beneficial for managers to examine project investment and supervision.
