Abstract

DRA emerged as a good option to go for designing at low as well as high frequencies as it show good diversity performance, good isolation performance, compact size, light weight and good bandwidth coverage with excellent gain. This paper basically gives an overview of various DRA designs based upon the DRA's performance in WiMax/WLAN applications. As today is the real of miniaturization, so some of designs of DRA have been studied & analysis of key parameters like DRA shape, material, feed type, size, substrate material, bandwidth & peak gain is done.
