Abstract

This paper deals with the investigation the energy characteristics of electric drive of the multi-motor belt conveyor with two drive motors in the head and one in the tail section at the change of freight traffic. Considered the typical variants of load changes within the technological cycle, which includes start of the conveyor in idle to the rated speed, gradual loading to nominal level of performance, operation at rated load and under the load fluctuations. It is proposed the voltage controller, which reduce energy losses in the electromechanical system at all stages of the technological cycle. The analysis of energy losses in case of one electric motor is presented, since such systems form the load distribution.
