The calculation equations were gained with hydraulic brake drag force and dynamic equation and braking distance was estimated twice with calculation formula of water resistance. The estimation results were consistent with the measured results. The correctness of the calculation equation of braking distance was verified. By increasing the sliding distance, reducing the velocity and segmented of rocket sled into water reduced brake force. The water brake plans of high speed double-track rocket sled are designed. Abstract
