Abstract
A CAD procedure is presented for the design of broadband matching networks which, when operating between frequency-dependent terminations, approximates a specified group delay response. Examples include embedding the matching network in an active environment. It is seen that the CAD technique gives superior performance compared with analytic matching methods.<>
