Abstract

Industry 4.0 refers to a trend in which the Internet of Things (IoT) is widely promoted in the logistics system, industrial production, and industries. Digitalization of the industry is critical for improving the production process, lowering costs, and growing the associated business. In this regard, Arrowhead Tools (AHT), an H2020 project, aims to transform and automate the industry across Europe. AHT (Arrowhead Tools) is built mostly on Arrowhead Framework (AHF), an open-source framework for automating and integrating IoT objects with services. AHF enforces IoT system connectivity through real-time managing data, automation of scalable engineering systems, and security features.
