Abstract
In this paper, we present a general z-domain design for STBC single-carrier transmission schemes with multiple transmit antennas over frequency-selective fading channels. Using z-transform approach, we develop the STBC single-carrier transmission transceiver structures and examine its performance gain. Low-complexity detection and/or equalization can be performed in the frequency domain.
