Abstract

This work presents an integrated approach to pathophysiological and pharmacological basis of allergic asthma as a blueprint of interdisciplinary multilevel intelligent system research. Intelligent system based healthcare promises improved prevention, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and reduced costs. The aim of this work is to review the pathophysiological and pharmacological basis of these systems, emphasize the need for interdisciplinary multilevel collaboration in order to achieve optimal research results.
