Cartografia do Secretariado Executivo no Brasil: estrutura e produção científica no processo de institucionalização

Abstract

Diante da urgencia pelo reconhecimento cientifico do Secretariado Executivo no Brasil pelos orgaos locais de avaliacao e fomento a pesquisa, objetiva-se, com essa investigacao, realizar apontamentos sobre o processo de institucionalizacao cientifica do Campo, considerando as idiossincrasias dos seus componentes estruturais e producao cientifica. Para isso, sao analisados os Cursos de Graduacao, os pesquisadores, os veiculos de comunicacao cientifica e a dinâmica da producao cientifica destes, em um recorte temporal de 21 anos (1997-2018). Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualiquantitativa, analitica, que utiliza do levantamento como metodo de coleta e da Cientometria como metodo de analise. Como resultados, sao apresentados a distribuicao de Cursos e pesquisadores; a cultura de comunicacao cientifica; o ranking de periodicos e eventos mais recorrentes; produtividade de pesquisadores e instituicoes; e colaboracao cientifica entre estes componentes. Pela exploracao do potencial analitico de tais indicadores, e possivel concluir que quatro antecedentes devem compor a agenda da comunidade citada frente ao seu posicionamento cientifico. ABSTRACT Given the urgent need for scientific recognition of the Executive Secretariat in Brazil by local evaluation and research promotion agencies, the purpose of this research is to make notes on the process of scientific institutionalization of the field, considering the idiosyncrasies of its structural components and scientific production. For this, the Graduation Courses, the researchers, the scientific communication vehicles, and the dynamics of their scientific production are analyzed, in a time frame of 21 years (1997-2018). It is a qualiquantitative, analytical research, which uses the survey as a collection method and Scientometrics as a method of analysis. As result, the distribution of courses and researchers have presented; the culture of scientific communication; the ranking of journals and more recurrent events; the productivity of researchers and institutions; and scientific collaboration among these components. By exploring the analytical potential of such indicators, it is possible to conclude that four backgrounds should make up the agenda of the community cited concerning its scientific positioning.
