Therollers apply a compression force that forces the food to pass through the holes. Once the feed has been extruded, the pellets are cutby blades and stored at the bottom of the machine, where a container is placed. Abstract

The present work consisted in designing a pelletizing machine for the production of animal feed from sweet mesquite. The designof the machine responded to the request of the clients, consisting of a small machine with a productivity of 640 kg day⁻¹in 8 hoursof work.
