Patients of all age groups and either gender who presented with clinical suspicion of liver abscess or already diagnosed were included in the study. Results: (1) Majority of the patients in our study had amoebic liver abscess (73.33%). (2) E.coli and Klebsella were the most common organisms cultured from the pyogenic abscess.
