Abstract
Considering the values of the water table depth at a particular well (we call this well the base well, hereafter) and the ones at any given well to be the two variables, the correlation coefficient (R) can be calculated. And if R is calculated for all wells in a given area (or a study area), the Equi-Correlation-Coefficient curves can be constructed on the map throughout the study area. Then, from these curves, the Equi-Correlation-Coefficient map of the water table can be drawn. This map suggests that the water table depth in most of the study area can be approximately estimated by using the data obtained from the base well.
