Abstract

The paper presents a procedure to acquire characteristics expressing properties of short circuit impedance. The procedure is based on the measurement of Transient Recovery Voltage using current injection method. Deconvolution of TRV time course yields the ’impulse impedance’ of the two-terminal object. FFT this function gives the input data for the Vector Fitting procedure which produces the pole-zero set defining network equivalent to the tested object. The method is illustrated by results of measurement made on the network model.
