UWB Antenna for a Radar Sensor

Abstract

In the last years ultra wide band (UWB) signals have more and more applications, including radar sensors. These systems need an antenna as an interface with the propagation media. The paper refers to an UWB antenna employed for a radar sensor used for subsurface searching, describes the method used to measure the parameters of the antenna and presents experimental results in time and frequency domain.
