Abstract

The C programs for JPEG2000 tier1 coding and codestream organization are designed and the JPEG2000 image file of the jpc format is produced. The SOPC system based on Altera's NiosII standard CPU is built. The uclinux operating system is tailored and the file system of uclinux and the C programs for tiler1 coding and codestream organization are ported to the SOPC system. The SOPC system is synthesized to Altera's CycloneII FPGA, and the test result shows that the SOPC system presented in this paper is correct.
