For this purpose, the study analyzes the case of the intersectoral formation of the Health Communitarian Agents (HCA), understanding their performance in the implementation of an intersectoral policy the São Paulo Carinhosa and observing the repercussions of the course offered to qualify home visits, focusing on the expansion of family competences for the early childhood care. This research, with an exploratory methodology and a qualitative approach, carried out semi-structured interviews with 66 HCA participating in 11 UBS from all the Regional Health Coordinations in São Paulo. Abstract
