Abstract

Global competence integrates multiple components, aiming to improve the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for students to understand and participate in global issues, which is a new requirement for talent cultivation in today’s globalization. As the media of the exchange of different languages and cultures, foreign language courses have unique and important significance for cultivating global competence. College English, as a compulsory course in colleges and universities, has a wide audience and great influence, and is an important carrier for cultivating college students’ global competence. Based on the global competence model, this study explores how to develop college students’ global competence in the college English listening and speaking course in order to get the students prepared for the future.
全球竞争力教学研究——以大学英语听说课程为例
