Secondly, students should accumulate English translation vocabulary and effectively meet the needs of English translation under “The Belt and Road Initiatives”. Abstract

With the in-depth practice of “The Belt and Road Initiatives” (B&R), Colleges and universities are facing great opportunities and severe challenges in cultivating English translation talents. This paper expounds the drawbacks in the training of English translation talents in colleges and universities, and puts forward the reform strategy of English translation teaching under “the Belt and Road Initiatives”: Teachers should strengthen cross-cultural education, teach students to respect multiculturalism while advocating Chinese culture. “一带一路”视野下的英语翻译教学改革策略

随着“一带一路”倡议的深入实践，高校英语翻译人才的培养面临着巨大的机遇和严峻的挑战。本文阐述了高校英语翻译人才培养中存在的弊端，提出了“一带一路”下英语翻译教学的改革策略:教师应加强跨文化教育，教育学生在崇尚中国文化的同时尊重多元文化。其次，积累英语翻译词汇量，有效满足“一带一路”倡议下的英语翻译需求。第三，教师要选择合适的教学内容，加强英语翻译的实践教学，积极开拓海外实践，让学生参与到“一线”翻译中，通过英语翻译实践提升翻译水平。
