Abstract

Based on the numerical simulation method and taking the air propeller of a hovercraft as the object, this paper carries out investigation on parameters influence rules of the air propeller on its aerodynamic performance, so as to provide a basis for the design and aerodynamic performance optimization of air propeller. The research shows that the design parameters of blade width, blade number, tip gap, airfoil sections and radial twist angles have obvious influences on the aerodynamic performance of air propeller. Therefore, in the process of air propeller design and optimization, we need to focus on the selection of these parameters in order to obtain better aerodynamic performance.
