Abstract

In this paper a power control and load management strategy for an isolated hybrid energy system is proposed. The presented solution can deal with all situations especially when the lack amount of supply power is less than 30% of maximum power of the Diesel Generator. The whole system has been simulated using SIMULINK software. An added value of the work is the Hardware in the loop test where the load power variation has been input to the SIMULINK Program through a data acquisition card. The results showed that the responses follow the commands and the permanent supply of the loads was assured.
