Abstract
Abstract: Under the background of the national policy on mental health promotion and mental disorder prevention, this paper takes students of Wuhan Business School, Jianghan University, Wuhan Vocational College of Software and Engineering and Wuhan City Polytechnic as the research object, uses the methods of literature review, questionnaire survey, experiment and mathematical statistics, and analyses SCL-90 symptom checklist. The paper uses linear regression algorithm of least square to derive the result between college students' mental health among fitness running. The author makes a comparative analysis of the data changes of various factors before and after fitness running and before and after fitness running, and explores the influence of fitness running on college students' mental health, aiming at promoting the development of fitness running in colleges and universities and the ways of promoting their mental health. The results show that fitness running can improve the mental health factors of college students, while the mental health level of students who do not participate in fitness running remains unchanged or even weakens. It is suggested that college students go to the playground for fitness running in their spare time to promote their physical and mental health. At the same time, they should not exaggerate their psychological adjustment and see a doctor as soon as possible when encountering psychological problems.
