Abstract

In this paper, the design of a closely spaced two-element ultrawide band (UWB) Surya Yantra shaped dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) array is presented. Novel rectangular loop-shaped defected ground structure (DGS) is introduced to reduce mutual coupling between DR elements. Fabrication and testing of the antenna array were carried out.
