Abstract

InsSciDE’s pilot training programs in science diplomacy showed that history can be a powerful tool to demonstrate the nuances, complexity and skillsets involved in the practice of science diplomacy. From its experiences conducting training programs, organizing conferences and compiling training resources, the Horizon 2020 project amassed a unique blend of insights that may help advance how European science diplomacy is taught, discussed and, ultimately, practiced.
