Abstract

This papers offers using of artificial intelligence (AI) technique to control the parameters of a three area power system having a three non-reheating thermal power units. The dynamic output of power system has been analyzed for step load disturbance. Proportional integral (PI) and proportional integral derivative (PID) controllers are used to control the various parameters of multi area power system.
