Proportional integral (PI) and proportional integral derivative (PID) controllers are used to control the various parameters of multi area power system. Due to high peak overshoot and settling time, conventional PI and PID controllers are not preferred for large power system. The main motivation of this paper is to control the output frequency response with minimum peak overshoot and settling time. Abstract
