Abstract

In this paper, the integrated powertrain control system is discussed which receives input and output speeds of the transmission, the engine speed, and the accelerator pedal position and uses this information to adjust engine torque and speed to effect a shift of the automatic transmission. The optimum model is given in this paper which has been tested.
